Blood Orange is a hybrid between a pomelo and a tangerine. Its aroma lies a little more on the sour side, yet remaining fresh and citrusy.

Its antibacterial properties make it a great oil to use to disinfect small wounds if used topically, and clear airborne bacteria if diffused - making it a great oil for cough relief. Blood Orange is also used for muscle cramps and nerve twitches. 

It can help reduce stress and anxiety, and is particularly used by women during labour.

Caution: Do not ingest. Store in a cool, dry area below 30° away from the reach of small children. If used topically, always blend with a carrier oil. 

Usage 

To use within a diffuser, place up to 8 drops in the water-filled compartment. 

To incorporate in topical forms of skincare and haircare (moisturisers, shampoos,  face creams) place up to 5 drops in every 30ml of carrier oil or lotion.
