Our minimal packaging philosophy
We wanted to make our brand inspiring and approachable, without being flashy and with unnecessary packaging extravaganza.
Oleu Life needed to be a dressed- down brand, but with great quality products. Simple to understand so our consumers could easily incorporate it into their daily lives.
We are constantly over stimulated with different packaging shouting out loud on shelves trying to grab our attention. Without understanding that simple designs can sometimes be more effective as they will let the product shine.
Based on this idea, we researched many possible ways on how we could create a packaging design that could allow our lovely mists bottles to show through, tell the story on their own and use as minimal packaging as possible so we could have a minimum amount of footprint in the world! Here’s where we brought our product design skills and environmental consciousness power and came up with an eco-friendly and innovative idea of making a collapsible single piece packaging made out of black cardboard that is recyclable. It folds in three places and has some openings where the bottles feed through to hold. Easy to carry around and use as minimal material as possible to create a more sustainable packaging option for the Oleu Life brand.
Across the board, we have managed to use recycled material to create the majority of the display materials we use in our markets. Repurposing as many materials as possible to help create environmental consciousness to our community.
At Oleu Life, we're constantly trying to see how we can make our production process more sustainable, and even though we might not be fully there yet, we are constantly trying to improve. We are conscious about the amount of waste we throw away and how much of it can be reused.
